Anthony Mireles started his career in 1990 at LIUNA Local 585 as a laborer working in the construction field. Within two years, he was appointed as an Auditor of the Local. In 2000, Anthony was hired as a Union Representative, and in 2018, he became the Business Manager of LIUNA 585, which serves more than 1000 men and women union laborers in the Ventura County region. He is a Trustee for Three Labor- Employer's Trust SoCal Laborers Vacation, Health & Welfare Training and Retraining Trust. During his career, Anthony has built strong coalitions with nonprofit groups. He serves on the WDBVC, VC Family Justice Center Foundation, The Housing Trust Ventura County Board and WVCBA Board.
Anthony has partnered with contractors, community leaders and developers to provide family-supporting careers in the construction industry. Anthony is dedicated to providing training partnerships to offer sustainable jobs to help transition the Green Economy and build workforce and affordable housing in Ventura County.
