Economic Development Collaborative Ventura County Digital Upskilling Training Program is a NO-COST short-term training program that will increase the digital skills of job seekers, current workers, and small business operators. The initiative seeks to expand the opportunities and earning power of Ventura County participants by providing them with much-needed digital skills training to help both individuals and employers in the County grow.

Economic Development Collaborative has been designated as a regional provider of Employment Training Panel (ETP) funds and now works with employers in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties to subsidize their employee training. ETP funding is provided by the California Unemployment Fund, which is funded in part by employer-paid unemployment insurance taxes. Employers in manufacturing, biotechnology, agriculture, nursing and healthcare, construction, high technology services, multimedia/entertainment, goods movement and transportation logistics can access this funding.
