Ben is a graduate of UCSB in Electrical and Computer Engineering and has served in technical and project management roles in several Central Coast tech companies, complemented by experiences of co-leading a startup company and engaging as a citizen activist in local community development initiatives. Ben’s role as Workforce Development Program Lead with the VCIC aligns with his passion for systems change that improves the quality of working life for individuals, and the performance of the organizations they serve. Ben sees the VCIC’s Workforce Development Program as an opportunity for local businesses to connect with local talent and to collaborate with educational institutions to shape the future of regional workforce development.
